Why Attend?

Understand the factors that impact reproductive performance and explore how to build on gains made to increase future reproductive performance using the experience from a high performing farm in the area.

Hear from contract milkers Ollie and Lauren Badcock who have an 80% 6 week in-calf rate, on last season’s farm data to identify opportunities for strengthening and maintaining reproductive performance. Learn what the financial benefits of increasing gains on your own farm could be, tips for assessing reproductive performance and the impact on the broader farm system.

The day will also include DairyNZ senior scientist Susanne Meier and DairyNZ farm systems expert Mark Speight who will share some of the research behind increasing reproductive performance.

Find out more about:

  • How to assess your herd reproductive performance and the financial impact of making improvements
