The course will cover:

  • Regulations and consent requirements applicable to a farm business
  • Understanding the effect of the four contaminants on water quality and ecology
  • Understanding the influence of farm practices on nutrient budgets and water quality
  • 21 Good Farm Management Practices
  • Identifying risk and risk management

This free course is suitable for managers, sharemilkers, contract milkers and farm owners and includes 4 in-person workshops (22 Oct, 5 Nov, 19 Nov and 3 Dec) and between class contact.
